WHSBC on Time Warner Sports

The first taping of the “High School Bowling Club” matches for Time Warner Sports will be taking place on Sunday evening, January 20 at New Berlin Bowl. The first taping will involve some of the best girls’ varsity teams in Southern Wisconsin, including 3 teams who currently lead their districts

The taping schedule is as follows:

5:30 pm – Kenosha Bradford (1st place in District 3) vs. Menomonee Falls (1st place in District 1).

Approx. 7:00pm – Sun Prairie (1st place in District 4) vs. Muskego (2nd Place in District 1).

In order to have the matches fit into a 90 minute telecast, there will be a special format used for these matches – there will be 4 games of Baker format bowled between the teams. If the teams tie at 2 games each, the tiebreaker will be an 8th, 9th & 10th frame roll off with three bowlers the coaches select on the lane used by that team in Game 4, and if still tied after the initial tie-breaker, single ball roll-off(s) between the 10th frame bowlers.

Please plan on coming out and joining the audience for this historic moment for High School Club bowling in Wisconsin – all the girls’ teams involved will appreciate your support, all the teams are very excited about participating in these telecasts.
